European Endowment for Democracy - Annual Report 2022

The European Endowment for Democracy (EED), Brussels, is an independent, grant-making organisation, established in 2013 by the EU and EU member states as an autonomous International Trust Fund to foster democracy in the European Neighbourhood, the Western Balkans, Turkey and beyond.

Vermillion Design Consultants worked with EED to design their Annual Report 2022, which was recently launched in the European Parliament.

Celebrating their 10th anniversary, we needed to capture the celebratory spirit of the anniversary while representing democracy and highlighting the invaluable actions undertaken by EED. Both a printed publication and microsite were developed in tandem, to ensure that the Annual Report 2022 could be conveniently accessed by the wide and far-reaching community of readers. The microsite contains key information, animations and links to audio and video, creating an engaging and dynamic experience for the viewer. The development of a microsite for the Annual Report is a first for the European Endowment for Democracy.
